Founded in Paris in 1946 by Christian Dior, the House of Dior is a true purveyor of luxury, including fashion, high jewellery, fragrances, luxury watches and more. With Victoire de Castellaine at the helm of Dior jewellery and watches, we are drawn into a world of technicolour. Explosive coloured gemstones are her trademark, perfectly encapsulated in the recent Dear Dior and Cher Dior high jewellery collections. Jewellery has been an integral part of the House of Dior's aesthetic ever since Christian Dior added jewels to his 1947 couture collection. Dior has also made a huge impact in the world of horology, with haute couture references continuing in some of the most memorable Dior watches, including the Dior VIII Grand Bal Fil de Soie models, on which the rotor is stitched with the same silk thread used in its gowns.
