The fun and glamour of the Cannes Film Festival doesn't stop when the sun goes down - when the premieres end, the parties begin.
On Monday night, the stars donned their designer gowns and red carpet jewellery to head over to Chopard's annual party, which is always a highlight of the festival.
In keeping with the gold theme adopted by Chopard to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the legendary Palme d'Or, a marquee at Port Canto on the Croisette had been transformed into a gold mine. The partygoers did their bit to blend in with the theme by wearing some of the finest Cannes jewellery we have seen so far.

The 700 guests, treated to an electrifying performance by singer Robbie Williams, included actress Uma Thurman, who shimmered in a white Prada dress and Chopard jewellery. The actress wore a pair of diamond Chopard earrings as well as a stunning 84ct diamond bracelet, both from Chopard's Red Carpet high jewellery collection.
Renowned for her bold fashion choices, Chinese actress Fan Bingbing went for a more demure look at the Chopard GOLD party in a Ralph & Russo dress accessorised with a pair of emerald Chopard earrings, as well as an emerald ring and an elegant white gold and diamond Chopard watch.
Wearing a low-cut floral Chanel dress, British model Poppy Delevingne made sure all eyes were on her statement Chopard jewellery. Her magnificent three-row sapphire and diamond necklace was set with 100ct of the blue gems, which Poppy matched with a pear-cut Chopard sapphire ring.
Fabulous red carpet style obviously runs in the Delevingne family, as over at Tuesday night's de GRISOGONO Divine party, younger sister Cara was the centre of attention in a one-of-a-kind de GRISOGONO necklace. The colourful high jewellery necklace was one of the star attractions at Baselworld this year and features four rows of emeralds, diamonds and rubies.
Held at the exclusive Grand Hotel du Cap Eden Roc in Cap D'Antibes, the de GRISOGONO event is another highlight on the jam-packed Cannes Film Festival social calendar. The guest list also included Natalie Portman, who continued to bowl us over with her Cannes jewellery choices by pairing a sleek emerald green Lanvin dress with a de GRISOGONO necklace measuring no less than 5ft in length wrapped around her delicate frame.
Dressed in a fabulous blue and black Oscar de la Renta gown, model Karlie Kloss was doused in de GRISOGONO diamond jewellery for the party, including a diamond Allegra bracelet, a voluptuous Jane diamond ring, and a pair of spectacular 80ct diamond high jewellery earrings.
During the day, the film premieres continued apace, giving us ample opportunity to admire some of the Cannes festival's finest red carpet jewellery. Two stars vied for best-dressed at the premiere of American thriller Sicario: Emily Blunt, who plays the female lead and was a picture of elegance in a stunning Stella McCartney column dress accessorised with one-of-a-kind Annu Hu jewellery, and Cate Blanchett in a pair of on-trend Van Cleef & Arpels gold cuffs, who walked the red carpet like a pro with her black train trailing behind her. Czech model Petra Nemcova also looked stunning in Chopard jewellery, including a sparkling diamond butterfly necklace.
As the face of the Maison's new fragrance Goldea, Brazilian model Isabeli Fontana chose Bulgari jewellery for her red carpet appearance at the Sicario premiere, wearing a figure-hugging black dress with an iconic Serpenti bracelet sparkling on her wrist.
Elsewhere, French actress Anaïs Demoustier dazzled in a pair of platinum and diamond pavé Chaumet earrings and a matching bracelet from the Lumières d'eau high jewellery collection at the premiere of her new film Marguerite & Julien.
