When Garrard launched its original Wings collection in 2003, the British high jeweller with a very royal pedigree could never have anticipated its long-standing popularity. Inspired by the wings of angels, the collection represents peace, purity and protection and has become an instantly recognisable symbol of the brand. Ten years later and, to celebrate a decade of success, the oldest jeweller in the world has launched a new Wings collection.
The Wings 10th Anniversary collection has all the elegance of the original jewels. Incorporating superb craftsmanship and an impeccable eye for detail, you can see each of the individual feathers on the winged jewels, which are set with sparkling white diamonds in white rose or yellow gold. These intricate feathers wrap around wrists and necks, and hang delicately on earrings and pendants of different sizes.
The 10th Anniversary rose gold ring, which is worn on two fingers, is just one spectacular piece within the collection. The feather reaches across three digits, channelling the trend for across-the-finger rings. The gold cuff is equally as wearable. The flick of one feather is encrusted with sparkling diamonds in one sinuous line of sparkle.
The star of the show, however, is the white gold diamond collar from the 10th Anniversary High Jewellery collection. The necklace's sparkling plumage curves elegantly around the neck and features 40 carats of diamonds, culminating in a fully detachable brilliant and rose-cut diamond drop.
