EDITOR'S REVIEW
Chaumet introduced its Liens ladies’ watch collection in 2013. Elegant, sophisticated and oh so Parisian, the collection draws inspiration from the X or link motif that has been used on Chaumet jewellery since its foundation in 1780. The Liens motif, French for link, is one of Chaumet’s most enduring emblems and was declined from the classic sentimental jewellery of the 17th century where simple knots and bows spoke the language of love and commitment. This 33mm white gold high jewellery model is entirely paved with 501 brilliant-cut diamonds, which reach out from the dial and cover the iconic links that encircle the watch case and give this watch its unique personality. Presented on a sleek black satin bracelet, the white gold pin buckle is also sprinkled with 75 brilliant-cut diamonds, making this an ideal cocktail watch. With a Swiss-made mechanical automatic movement to keep the hours, minutes and seconds in perfect order, the watch has round-tipped white gold hands and just two numerals at 12 and 6 o’clock.
