EDITOR'S REVIEW
First released in 1956 as a watch capable of withstanding magnetic forces of up to 1000-gauss, specially designed for people working in power plants, medical facilities and science labs where technology can play havoc with the mechanism of a watch, the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Milgauss was the pioneering antimagnetic watch of its time. The new Rolex Oyster Milgauss Z-Blue watch is a modern take on this classic timepiece. With the iconic Oyster silhouette, the 40mm corrosion-resistant 904L stainless steel case is waterproof to 100m. Protected by the trademark Rolex green sapphire crystal, the shimmering turquoise-blue sunray dial features an orange lightning bolt seconds hand and luminescent treated hour and minute hands. With a Parachrom hairspring that has its own antimagnetic properties, the watch has an antimagnetic shield that protects the in-house calibre 3131 automatic movement from the magnetic fields emitted by modern-day technology. The watch is presented on a classic Rolex Oyster polished and satin stainless steel link bracelet, secured with a folding Oysterclasp.
