The Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie 2014 was held in Geneva this January and it is the place to see some of the most beautiful and extravagant watches of the year.
I spent five days at the Palexpo, where the event is held, and in my latest video you can see my selection of the most spectacular women's jewellery watches on show.
Piaget's Blooming Rose watch, with its clever twisting mechanism that allows two looks in one watch, immediately caught my attention.
Cartier excelled in creativity and craftsmanship this year and offered women a stunning array of jewellery watches that are, quite literally, both a jewel and a watch. Both the 'Crocodile' and 'Flamingo' watches feature detachable brooches.
Roger Dubuis' Velvet collection offers a pink sapphire and diamond watch that is a masterful coming together of the gem-setter and watch-maker with high carat appeal.
And Van Cleef & Arpels chose all things celestial as the theme for its 'jewels that tell the time'. The Zodiac collection interprets, in precious materials and enamel, each of the star signs. They are all so different and interesting that it's a shame to have to chose just one.
Enjoy my video of the very best jewellery watches the SIHH 2014 had to offer.
