Atlas II: Tiffany and Co revisits one of its most iconic jewellery collections

The new Atlas II jewels from Tiffany & Co, available this April, put a bold spin on the Roman numeral design that has become synonymous with the brand.

While we all know movie sequels are rarely as good as the original, things are very different in the world of fine jewellery.

This spring, Tiffany revisits its iconic Atlas collection with the versatile new Atlas II. Available at Tiffany & Co. boutiques worldwide at the beginning of April, it's as wearable as the original but with a bolder edge.

The inspiration behind Atlas II comes from the "crossroads of energy and evolution" - the Atlas clock above Tiffany's Fifth Avenue store in New York - and the graphic elements create a sense of graceful strength.

Comparing Atlas II with the original collection, the most obvious difference is the addition of the Atlas II wide bangles. While Roman numerals are a recurring motif in both collections, they are expanded and overlapped in these graphic statement pieces.

Atlas II still gives the wearer just as many options as the previous collection. With bangles, cuffs, medallion pendants and rings all available in yellow, white or rose gold as well as sterling silver and titanium, every piece in Atlas II can be layered with other styles and colours or worn alone.
