In mouthwatering sorbet colours, the new collection from Indian jewellery designer Mirari looks good enough to eat.
Founded by Mira Gulati in 2005, the Mirari name has become synonymous with a seamless blend of contemporary and classic design.
Navigating the often precarious line between fashionable and traditional, the new collection from Mirari picks up on the current vogue for pastel-coloured stones. But, rest assured, these are pieces you will reach for again and again.
Emeralds, rubies and briolette sapphires in ice-cream colours are balanced with diamonds and white gold to create an effect that is colourful but never brash.
Waterfall earrings set with multi-coloured sapphires and round white diamonds rub shoulders with a more classic set of marquise ruby and emerald bangles. The star piece of the collection is a magnificent ring featuring a freshwater button pearl surrounded by sapphires and round brilliant-cut diamonds.
Mirari is not the only Indian jewellery designer to capture the mood for spring with a colourful offering. Farah Khan recently unveiled a collection bursting with vibrant hues of blue, purple, pink and lavender to mark the new season.
