Chopard has unveiled its latest Red Carpet Collection of high jewellery, which will be debuted at the Cannes Film Festival 2014, beginning today.
For the last seven years, the jewellery house has set itself the challenge of producing the same number of high-jewellery pieces as the edition number of that year's festival. With 2014 being the 67th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, Chopard is presenting a collection of 67 jewels inspired by the glamorous, voluptuous stars of Italian cinema in the 1950s and 1960s.
A team of skilled artisans has worked tirelessly over the past 12 months to produce these one-of-a-kind creations, using a mixture of traditional techniques and cutting-edge technology.

Just like the silver screen, each jewellery collection has its leading lady, and this year's undisputed star is the Riviera set. Comprising a stunning Chopard diamond necklace and matching Chopard earrings featuring over 100 carats of brilliant-cut, marquise-cut and rose-cut pear-shaped diamonds, more than 1,000 hours of craftsmanship went into creating this masterpiece.
Chopard has been the official partner of the Cannes Film Festival since 1998 and first launched the Haute Joaillerie Red Carpet collection in 2007.
