With designers getting ever more creative with ways to bejewel their customers, the Couture Show Las Vegas promises to see some exciting variations on the hand bracelet.
Synonymous with the heady, glamorous days of flapper girls in the 1920s, it is not the most practical of trends - ever tried picking up groceries with diamonds wrapped around your hand? - but there is no denying that hand jewels are glamorous, attention-grabbing and, let's be honest, downright sultry.
Colette's diamond flowers wrap around the wrist and middle finger in a fashionable mix of black and white. And for those who like yellow gold, there is Borgioni's pavé brown diamond design, linked by delicate chains with a hint of naughtiness.
Yeprem creates hand bracelets that are unique in their design and diamond extravagance: its glamorous flower version wraps around the hand and fingers like wild vines.
Sutra adds some welcome colour with its opal and sapphire hand chain bracelet, with more ice-blue gemstones decorating the oxidised white gold chain.
The extravagant artistry and imagination of Wendy Yue are evident in her opulent hand bracelet, pavéd from top to toe with multi-coloured gems and black diamonds.
A more everyday option can be found in Jacquie Aiche's range of hand bracelets. She will be showing her Emerald Shaker finger bracelet alongside other jewels from the brand's exclusive emerald collection, created in collaboration with Gemfields, at the Couture Show Las Vegas. And if hand jewellery is not enough, the LA-based designer also does a range of body jewels such as her yellow gold and pavé diamond Icepick design. You could be bejewelled from head to toe.
