Originally a journalist in the financial sectors of Tokyo and London, Japanese high jewellery designer Ikuko Kurahone founded iKuria as a jewellery line for the quintessential businesswoman. A feminine statement, iKuria high jewellery allows the working woman to show off her stylish side, otherwise hidden in corporate attire. iKuria's pieces mix inspiration from the realms of literature, art history, science and ballet, and always with the ongoing need for perfection of the Japanese aesthetic. The popularity of iKuria's collections led Ikuko to become the first Japanese finalist for the UK Jewellery Awards 2013's New Designer of the Year category.
