London-based jeweller Julia Lloyd George studied at Sir John Cass School of Art before apprenticing in the capital's jewellery hub, Hatton Garden. At the time one of very few females in the trade, she designed for Garrard & Co. before establishing herself as an independent jewellery designer. Her clean, simple designs are coupled with gemstones chosen for their exceptional colour.
