Kailis Australian Pearls began in the mid 1970s when Dr Patricia Kailis - then a pearl farmer in Roebuck Bay, Broome, Australia - decided to take her precious gems and open the first of its kind jewellery store in Broome. As popularity grew, the store’s talented designers working with these pearls formed the brand, designing all of its jewellery around this precious gem. The patriotism of the Australian South Sea pearl still remains strong today, which shines through in making the pearl the hero of all its pieces.
