Marc Alary is a French-born, New York-based jewelry designer who launched his first fine jewelry collection in November 2009. Marc’s debut collection of animal jewelry in gold and precious stones, entitled Ménagerie, draws its inspiration from his childhood, where an array of antiques and trinkets remain vividly alive in Alary’s memories and were sources of endless fascination. Elephants, panthers and zebras are all present in the collection along with flamingos rendered in gold platinum and diamonds, sapphires, rubies and tourmalines, all in addition to articulated monkeys cheekily clutching rubies with their tails and hands.
