Seeking to create fine jewellery that can be passed down for generations, Monica Rich Kosann began creating jewellery just a few years ago by scouring antique shows and flea markets for vintage accessories including lockets, cigarette cases and powder compacts, which she believed could be adapted to hold family photographs. As demand grew for her fine jewellery pieces, Monica created her own self-branded collection of jewellery and home wares. Today, Kosann's jewellery collections are sold in more than 100 fine jewellers throughout the US, including Neiman Marcus, while also becoming an international name in Hong Kong, Japan and Russia.
