Beirut-born Ralph Masri had an international upbringing, living between Lebanon, Canada, France and the UK. At the age of 18 he won the Swarovski Award in his first year at Central Saint Martins and, two years later, became the youngest designer to ever be nominated for a UK Jewellery Award. After a stint working at Italian jeweller Pomellato, he set up his eponymous label designing bold yet refined pieces, which straddle the worlds of fashion and fine jewellery. Fusing classic and modern influences, his debut collection A Trace of Lace was inspired by the intricacy of lace patterns, while the more recent Sacred Windows echoes the shapes and colours of the stained glass windows found in churches and cathedrals.
