Ron Arad is a renowned artist, architect and designer. His work over the years has ranged from the design of objects for world-known companies such as Kartell, an academic career at the Royal College of Art in London, and the design of the Museum of Tel Aviv Bauhaus, the Design Museum in Holon, and a special version of the Fiat 500. Ron Arad has amassed three collections: Rocks, Hot Ingo and Naja. In the Rocks collection, though the silicon is soft and pliable to the touch, each piece appears heavy and dangerously jagged. The Hot Ingo series derives from Arad’s early experimentation with laser-sintered polyamide and rapid prototyping. Finally Naja: a magnifying glass pendant made of a solid quartz lens, surrounded by a serpentine coil of silver or vermeil.
