Rouvenat was among the star jewellers of Paris during the Second Empire (1852-1870). Despite all of its successes but with no successor, the company stopped operating before First World War and stayed dormant until 2020 when four passionate and experienced jewellery lovers, all of whom worked for years at Cartier, decided to revive the sleeping beauty. Today the French brand creates high and fine jewellery pieces only with pre-owned gemstones aged between five and few hundred years old, all with a certificate of provenance.
