Born and raised on the Gold Coast of Long Island, New York, Sarah Hendler had careers in film and fine dining before finding her passion in jewellery design. Two of her best-known collections, Shirley and Ethel, are named after her grandmothers, who can be crediting with igniting Hendler's early love of jewellery.
