An exciting new fine jewellery brand from India, VAK was founded by Vishal Kothari, who spent decades working in the family jewellery business before, at the age of 40, setting himself a challenge: to design his own line of one-of-a-kind jewels. From his workshop in Mumbai, Kothari creates a very limited collection of 50-70 jewels a year, specialising is old-cut diamonds, in particular the rose cut that goes hand in hand with Indian jewellery. In Vishal's hands, though, these flat-cut diamonds are transformed into beautiful and very contemporary jewels that capture the spirit of India and take it to a new level.
