Jean Schlumberger joined Tiffany & Co. in 1956 with a style so new and exciting that the most glamorous women of the time, including Jackie Kennedy and Vogue editor Diana Vreeland , flocked to wear his designs. His creations are still recreated by Tiffany today from archival designs, including his famous rendition of an “X” to represent love. Bringing his unique artistry to Tiffany & Co., Schlumberger was one of the most influential figures in the world of jewellery design until he passed away in 1987.
