Baselworld 2014 has come and gone, but there is always much to reminisce over long after the fair is finished.
The biggest watch and jewellery show in the world was full of extraordinary pieces, and in our latest video you can enjoy a close-up look at the most impressive jewels and watches we saw for women.
For starters there was the unforgettable Graff Hallucination watch. Unveiled on the first day of Baselworld 2014, this stunning watch, covered with 110 carats of rare coloured diamonds and valued at $55 million, has got to be the most valuable in the world.
The Jacob & Co. Rare Touch Bolero Jacket, draped over the shoulders of a glamorous model for the duration of the fair, caught the eye of every single passer-by and takes the idea of body jewellery to a whole new level.
De GRISOGONO's Grappoli watches are a playful addition to the brand's original collections of timekeepers, with colourful pavé-set gems covering the face and bezel, and briolettes tumbling over the sides, resembling ripe fruits.
Then there is the iconic Harry Winston Emerald Cluster watch. Covered with a total of 73 carats of diamonds, the Emerald Cluster is aptly named after Winston's love for the emerald cut and the cluster design for which the house is well known.
Roberto Coin's Snake necklace with sapphires and diamonds slithers round the neck in seductive style, while Garrard's tiara manages to be equal parts glamour and functionality as it can be transformed into a necklace and earrings.
The most ornate creation on display at the Mikimoto stand was the Angelic Necklace. Born of the desire to drape the entire body in pearls, this shimmering, figure-hugging jewel comprises rows of pearls and diamonds that extend all the way down to the feet.
Closing on a fun note, Christophe Claret's whimsical new Margot watch - the brand's first watch for women - draws on girlish nostalgia with the old game of 'he loves you, he loves you not'. Thanks to a poetic complication developed exclusively by Christophe Claret for this watch, the petal-filled dial spins randomly at the push of a button to reveal your true feelings.
