This September, Boodles is set to launch a new icon collection of fine jewellery called Circus, a capsule range of necklaces, rings and earrings. Joining the existing Blossom and Raindance icon collections, the pieces are designed to be easy to wear while celebrating the tradition of Great British craftsmanship for which Boodles is famous.
Originally used to describe a circle or ring, Boodles has taken the meaning of the word 'circus' literally. A bold circular motif weaves its way through rings, earrings and necklaces, inspired by the meticulous architecture of the world's most famous round buildings, including the striking Colosseum in Ancient Rome and the elegant, curved facades of John Wood's Circus in Bath.
The collection comprises six jewels - three designs available in either white or yellow gold - the highlight of which is the versatile opera-length necklace, decorated with gold baubles reminiscent of traditional mosaic desigh and ringed by a circle of pavé diamonds.
