This follows on from the theft of Chopard jewels last week. According to Fawaz Gruosi, Founder and Creative Director of de GRISGONO: "These incidents are rare; it is actually the first time it has happened in our 20-year history. However, when they occur one must be proactive and collaborate with the authorities."

The press release from de GRISOGONO states: "Regrettably, after the night's festivities ended, de GRISOGONO staff members discovered that a high jewellery necklace, part of the launched collection, was stolen despite the large security measures set in place: over 80 security guards plus the police. A police report has been filed and further investigation is under way by local law enforcement."
