Just in time for summer, Harry Winston, the New York jeweller and the original 'king of diamonds', launches new variations on the Sunflower collection, a design that has been in the house's archives since the 1950s. The original designs included pretty necklaces strung with flowers as well as ear studs, but for the updated version, more modern drop and stud earrings and pendants make up the collection.
Eight diamonds cluster around a central round brilliant-cut to create a fiery sparkle the reminds us of sunny summer days. Intended for daytime wear, though I think the long three-flower drop earrings wouldn't look out of place after sunset with an up-do and a slick of lipstick.
