Swiss watch company Jaeger-LeCoultre was very much present at the 69th Venice Film Festival sending out a message loud and clear that theirs is the only watch to be seen in at the Festival. As partners of the event since 2005, the Swiss watch house comes down from the its mountain manufacture and presents prizes and adorns the stars with the watches and makes sure that there are plenty of diamond-set pieces for the red carpet moments.
This year stars seen wearing the watch of the Festival were Pierce Brosnan sporting a classic looking rose gold Reverso, Freida Pinto who chose an all gold version of the new Rendezvous watch and Catherine Deneuve who opted for a dainty vintage Duoplan watch. Spike Lee was there with his family to collect his "Jaeger-LeCoultre Glory to the Filmmaker" award from CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre Jerome Lambert. The prize is a Reverso wristwatch with a red lion - the motif of the festival - painted on the reverse in glossy red enamel. But it looks like one Jaeger-LeCoultre is not enough for Spike who was also photographed wearing a sporty AMVOX 2.
So if you are ever thinking of heading to the Venice Film Festival, remember, a Jaeger-LeCoultre is the dress code for the wrist.
