Taking its cue from Mappin & Webb's historic flower motif, the new Floresco collection reinterprets the original design in a fresh and modern way.
The brand's creative director Elizabeth Galton has breathed new life into the motif by incorporating it into a series of kaleidoscope-like repetitions on jewels inspired by woodland creatures such as sprites and fairies.
The statement pieces in the collection - which takes its name from the Latin word for 'bloom' - twinkle seductively with white diamonds and sapphires.
Resembling a gorgeous 'flower bomb' for the finger, a white gold ring is set with 250 diamonds and a vibrant brilliant-cut blue sapphire. When cocktail hour rolls around, ramp up the glamour with a dazzling pendant featuring an exploded flower motif encrusted with 1.5 carats of diamonds and 3.62 carats of sapphires. The pendant is suspended from a white gold chain embellished with sapphires and a diamond and sapphire clasp.
An intricate high jewellery cuff is adorned with 10.10 carats of brilliant-cut diamonds and 28 pear-cut sapphires in a repeated flower pattern that illuminates the wrist.
A more subtle day-to-night take on the pendant sees the floral emblem recreated in a contemporary, more open form with diamond-set petals on a delicate chain. Other rings in the collection range from a traditional celebration band to an 'exploded' 3D sculptural design.
