The BAFTAs saw Van Cleef & Arpels jewels on Alex Edenborough (Mrs Gary Oldman) and a Jaeger-LeCoultre on the legendary Martin Scorsese.
Perfectly complementing her always impeccably styled husband Gary Oldman, jazz-singer Alex Edenborough wore Van Cleef & Arpels Oiseaux de Paradis Volute 'between the fingers' ring in white gold and diamonds, coupled with Van Cleef & Arpels Oiseaux de Paradis Volute earrings also in white gold and diamonds. During the awards themselves she continued to dazzle with Van Cleef & Arpels Anna earrings with white coral and onyx set with diamonds and two large oval cut golden helidores, not to mention a Van Cleef & Arpels Fleurette bracelet with 18 motifs in white gold and diamonds.
Yet the glamour wasn't just for the gorgeously young and talented Edenborough, living legend Martin Scorsese wore a timeless Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso as he accepted the BAFTA fellowship from none other than screen legend Max von Sydow. The award is the highest accolade the Academy can bestow, in recognition of outstanding achievement in the art forms of the moving image; with the whole of the Royal Opera House upstanding for his acceptance, it was easy to see why he won.
