From entry-level jewels to one-of-a-kind creations set with rare gemstones, a visit to Boodles is recommended for a taste of the best of British design.
Nestled between Cartier and Mikimoto, Boodles has one of the most enviable addresses on New Bond Street and now also Albermarle Street, which runs parallel to it. In the summer of 2015, this very British jeweller undertook an ambitious remodelling project that saw its showroom expanded into the building behind, turning a small space of serenity into a spacious showroom with two entrances. Look out for the pink flag hung outside the front, but don’t expect it to be impossibly girlie inside - Boodles is home to some truly original jewellery that stands out for the quality of its craftsmanship and playful spirit.
Recently extended to become a spacious showroom with two entrances, Boodles is the quintessential British jewellery brand, with original designs, diamonds galore and the friendliest service on Bond Street.
In 2014, Boodles introduced its first line of women’s jewellery watches. Entirely designed in-house and exclusive to the brand, the watches are made in Switzerland to exacting specifications. The designs complement the Blossom jewellery collection and feature mother-of-pearl dials decorated with diamonds in either white gold or rose gold cases.
Boodles proudly designs all its jewellery in-house. Each and every piece is made in its workshops in Liverpool, while its high jewellery designs are made by skilled craftsmen in the heart of London, which means the 200-year-old family-run firm can rightly claim to be a truly British success story. This legacy enables Boodles to offer the highest quality of craftsmanship, as witnessed in the new Pas de Deux high jewellery, right through to the perennial favourite, the Raindance ring, which is internationally recognised as an outstanding example of great British design.
With the Wainwright clan, who own the firm, working in the Bond Street boutique and in the offices above, personal service is at the very heart of Boodles’ ethos. A perfect place to choose an engagement ring, Boodles offers a selection of styles, from the classical Vintage halo ring to more contemporary designs featuring the technically advanced Ashoka-cut diamonds. The light-filled Boodles boutique on Bond Street is a romantic start to the journey of married life. A bespoke service is also available.
