Pisa Orologeria links Swiss watchmakers with a sophisticated clientele looking for stylish watches from the best brands in the world.
When good Milanese families need to commemorate a happy event - an engagement, 18th birthday, or bar or bat mitzvah - with a traditional gift of a watch, they turn to Pisa. Pisa began as a repairer and restorer of clocks and watches. The expertise of brothers Ugo and Osvaldo Pisa made them a logical partner when brands such as Rolex expanded outside Switzerland in the 1940s, or when Lange & Söhne, Franck Mueller and Cartier decided to reach across the Alps.
Now run by the founders' daughters, Pisa has evolved as client tastes have moved from watches used as precision instruments - the Italian preference - to watches used as style statements. Houses such as Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constantin have created several limited editions expressly for Pisa’s international clientele, and in addition to its multi-brand store, Pisa has nearby boutiques dedicated to Rolex and Patek Philippe watches.
Pisa recently launched its Lancette line of jewellery, featuring pendants and cufflinks in gold and diamonds shaped like watch hands (lancette in Italian), which come in boxes where they are “set” to the client’s special moment, such as when the question was popped or a new baby arrived.
To commemorate a milestone event from a vast selection of Swiss watches, aided by highly trained salespeople, and for unique special edition watches.
The gold and diamond pendants and cufflinks in Pisa’s Lancette collection are made expressly for them by selected artisans.
Pisa has a dedicated wedding planner to help choose clocks and jewellery as gifts, or for the bride and groom themselves. Watches are the traditional gift from Italian brides to their future husbands.
