Joyá Ipanema opened its doors as an innovative variation to the traditional Carioca jewellery scene, with the primary objective to showcase, promote and commercialise a new generation of designers in a trendy, contemporary gallery-like space.

In 2011, Lara Mader led a team of jewellery designers to make Joyá an evident choice for jewellery lovers seeking new trends in fashion and design. This unique gallery showcases and promotes a careful selection of Rio’s most talented upcoming designers and their exclusive one-of a kind pieces.

Joyá Ipanema’s store concept and architectural interior design sets itself apart by its original way of showcasing jewellery in suspended cases on decorated walls, all commissioned to renowned artist Samina.
