EDITOR'S REVIEW
As a tribute to the homeland of A. Lange & Söhne in Saxony, Germany, the Saxonia line of watches was launched in 1994 to celebrate the very German values of pragmatism and exceptional quality, with minimalist dials that have become contemporary classics. The Saxonia Thin collection is the thinnest model in A. Lange & Söhne’s collection and is presented in a pink or white gold case, with a height of just 5.9mm, and comes in two different sizes, with gold cases measuring 37 and 40mm, ideal for women and men alike. This graceful two-hand watch features an elegant solid silver dial with slim, gold baton-style hour markers and hands. Powered by the manually-wound calibre L093.1, which measures just 2.9mm in height, the movement is finished to exceptionally high standards, with the classic German silver three-quarter plate decorated with Glashütte ribbing visible through the transparent sapphire crystal caseback. The 40mm watch in both pink and white gold retails for £17,700.
