EDITOR'S REVIEW
Departing from his signature structural style, the Cannelé collection from UK Designer of the Year in 2013, Andrew Geoghegan, cuts a finer and more delicate aesthetic. The AG Cannelé Trois white gold and diamond engagement ring features a central brilliant cut diamond flanked by a smaller diamond on either side. Each diamond is, in turn, encircled by a pretty halo of smaller brilliant cut diamonds. Each cluster of diamonds nestles in the fluted white gold setting from which the ring gets its name, cannelé being the French term for fluted. Andrew Geoghegan has conceived this ring to be admired from all angles. The fluted setting is polished to microscopic detail, creating a precise point where the fluting meets. One of the most beautiful elements is that the stones do not sit on top of the band but form part of it, which gives the Art Nouveau inspired design a light and graceful feel.
