EDITOR'S REVIEW
To celebrate its recently 130th anniversary, Alpina launched a pilot's watch modelled on a classic vintage model from the early 1900s. The Alpina 130 Heritage Pilot chronograph has a 41.5mm polished stainless steel case with brushed steel lugs. The anthracite grey dial features applied silver Arabic numerals, while the bi-compax chronograph layout gives the watch true vintage appeal. Essential mid-air calculations can be undertaken using the telemetre scale that encircles the dial, while the central tachymetre scale measures average speed. This stylish pilot's watch is powered by the AL-860 self-winding movement with a power reserve of 46 hours, which can be admired through the sapphire crystal caseback. Presented on a black alligator strap, the Alpina 130 Heritage Pilot chronograph has all the qualities of a vintage Alpina pilot's watch combined with the precision of a modern-day timepiece.
