EDITOR'S REVIEW
Though relative newcomers to the world of watchmaking, the Arnold & Son Nebula watch is a standout favourite from the independent watchmakers who launched two versions of the model at Baselworld 2016. The near-perfect symmetry of its dial - both horizontally and vertically - makes the Nebula watch beautiful and eye-catching. The three-dimensional, openwork movement and dial offers an unimpeded view of the magnificent inner workings, and comes in a 41.5mm red gold case. The Arnold & Son watch features a cambered sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides, sapphire crystal display caseback, and is water resistant up to 30 metres. The exposed in-house manufacture hand-wound movement is beautifully hand-finished with two mainspring barrels providing an impressive 90 hours of power reserve. Though still a small brand, with a limited production of just 800 watches per year, this Arnold & Son watch is one that will be sure to blast off into the upper echelons of fine watchmaking notoriety.
