EDITOR'S REVIEW
A direct descendant of the iconic 1972 Royal Oak, the Royal Oak Offshore burst on to the scene in 1993 with a new macho bravado and a diameter of 42mm that shook up the watch establishment. Like the legendary Royal Oak, this stunning Royal Oak Offshore watch pulls off two seemingly irreconcilable attitudes, marrying the sturdiness and sporting performance of a chronograph with the uncompromising luxury of pink gold. By contrast, the black ceramic pushers and crown have been resized to create a more contemporary look. The "Méga Tapisserie", or waffle-textured dial, continues with the luxurious pink gold theme while the chronograph counters and date window are offset in black. Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback is an in-house self-winding chronograph movement with a gold oscillating mass that ensures a power reserve of 55 hours. Complemented with a sumptuous pink gold bracelet with folding clasp, this model will not go unnoticed.
