EDITOR'S REVIEW
For over 20 years the Royal Oak Offshore chronograph has been the macho brother to the more refined Royal Oak timepiece first introduced in 1972. With its familiar oversized case of 42mm, the luxury sports watch proves that steel can be just as chic and luxurious as precious metals. This Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore chronograph has a steel case featuring the hallmark octagonal screwed-down bezel. The distinctive "Méga Tapisserie" khaki-toned motif on the watch face is offset by the chocolate brown chronograph counters and tachymeter scale on the flange. The sapphire crystal caseback reveals an in-house self-winding chronograph movement with a gold oscillating mass providing a power reserve of 55 hours. Combining the sturdiness of steel with the luxury of a brown alligator leather watch strap, the Royal Oak Offshore chronograph is a ruggedly handsome watch.
