The iconic octagonal case and muscular contours of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore watch frame the vibrant acid-green dial of this robust diving companion. Designed to withstand depths of up to 300 metres, this 42mm stainless steel dive watch is also equipped with a chronograph and the pushers and screw-locked crown and helium escape valve are crafted in contrasting black ceramic. The green dial features the hallmark ‘méga tapisserie’ or chequerboard decoration associated with the Royal Oak Offshore family and the diving scale on the internal rotating bezel is highlighted in green for improved visibility. The blackened gold hour makers and hands are covered in luminescent coating and the chronograph counters are picked out in black. Unusual in a dive watch, the caseback is made from sapphire crystal allowing a view of the in-house automatic movement and the solid gold winding rotor embossed with AP’s coat of arms. Matching the acid-green colour of the dial, the green rubber strap sits comfortably on the wrist and is secured with a pin buckle.
