A layer of perfectly round white pearls highlights the rich, buttery colour of the centre stone in this stunning lemon topaz cocktail ring from the Limited Collection by Azza Fahmy. The 13.75ct lemon topaz is set onto an intricately designed yellow gold band, while tiny white diamonds catch the light to add a touch of sparkle. Cocktail rings are believed to originate from ancient Egypt, where they often featured Scarab Beetle motifs. However, the ring got its name during the 1920s prohibition when women wore bold, oversized rings to flaunt the fact that they were drinking illicit alcohol at underground cocktail parties.
