EDITOR'S REVIEW
Two practical functions in one watch offered at a very attractive price are going to get a lot of people initiated in the realm of small complications. The Clifton Chronograph Complete Calendar takes its design cues from Baume & Mercier watch models of the 1950s and marries the functions of a chronograph to measure elapsed times to a complete calendar, indicating the date, day and month of the year. It even manages to squeeze in a Moonphase and day/night indicator. Chronograph seconds are measured by the blue central seconds hand, while elapsed minutes and hours are shown on two small counters at 12 and 6 o’clock respectively. This model, presented on a 43mm steel case with a silvered dial, comes with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal on the caseback to reveal the mechanical automatic movement, plus a handsome black alligator strap.
