EDITOR'S REVIEW
The original Blancpain Ladybird watch debuted in 1956 as the world’s smallest round watch, which started the motto, “If the Ladybird were made larger, it would be too small”. A pioneer in the world of petite ladies’ watches, Blancpain created a specific movement for its feminine collection in the 1950s, a movement that evolved in the 1990s to include a hand-winding and self-winding calibre option. As part of a 60-piece limited edition collection, this Blancpain Ladybird watch has a slimline 21.5mm rose gold case with a diamond-set bezel. Its opaline sunray dial features diamond-set indexes and sage, leaf-shaped hands. Finally, a sweet red gold ladybird charm rests on top of the calfskin strap. Well, it is called the Ladybird watch after all.
