The British brand Bremont watches has produced a special collection of sailing watches to celebrate its prestigious role as timing partner of the 35th America’s Cup this year. The Bremont America’s Cup Series AC II chronograph evokes the timeless elegance of the J-Class yachts of the 1930s. The luxurious 43mm rose gold case offsets a white opaline dial with the outline of the America’s Cup trophy embossed on the two chronograph subdials. The automatic COSC chronometer-certified movement can be seen on the caseback, along with its skeletonised and decorated rotor. Classic to the core, the AC II evokes the elegance of a bygone era in sailing competitions, but is designed to face modern-day challenges with a sturdy Bremont-patented case construction, which ensures water-resistance to 100 metres.
