EDITOR'S REVIEW
British watch brand Bremont has forged a unique relationship with Martin-Baker, maker of lifesaving fighter plane ejection seats. Subjected to the exact same tests as the Martin-Baker seats, including live ejection, vibration, temperature extremes and salt fog, it is fair to say that Bremont’s line of MBII watches are literally “tested beyond endurance”. Housed in a 43mm hardened steel case with a soft iron, inner anti-magnetic Faraday cage to protect the automatic movement, the MBII now comes with a white dial with SuperLuminova coated hands and numerals. The central seconds hand alludes to its Martin-Baker heritage with a yellow and black detail that references the ejection pull handle in a fighter plane. Available with orange, green or anthracite coloured barrels, the MBII pilot’s watch comes with a COSC-chronometry certification.
