EDITOR'S REVIEW
Bremont watches are currently the official timing partner of both the 35th America’s Cup and ORACLE TEAM USA - the defending champions. The new Oracle II is a purpose-built instrument to be used in, on and under the water, and was designed with input from the Oracle crew. Like the Oracle I watch, this model is housed in a rugged 43mm stainless steel case with an anti-shock mount and an anti-magnetic Faraday cage to protect the automatic chronometer-certified movement from blows and magnetic fields. Capable of withstanding depths of 500 metres, the unidirectional rotating bezel, helium valve, and screwed-down crown and caseback affirm its underwater attributes. The smart and sporty black dial of the Oracle II also has a second time-zone indicator, and the yellow-tipped arrow hand is an easy way to remind sailors crossing different time zones of the time back home.
