Italian jeweller Bulgari is eternally inspired by the classical past of Rome and takes design cues from ancient sundials for its LVCEA women’s watch collection. Measuring just 23mm in diameter, the rose gold PICCOLA LVCEA is the smallest-sized member of the family. Set against a milky opalescent mother-of-pearl dial, the 12 square gold hour markers are set with diamonds, as is the bright pink cabochon-cut stone in the crown, the bezel and the edges of the geometrical links on the bracelet. The gorgeous rose gold bracelet, made up from articulated links, is very similar to the bracelets in Bulgari’s Serpenti family of watches and sits beautifully on the wrist. Equipped with a practical quartz movement to power the hours and minutes, the PICCOLA LVCEA is a winning testament to the adage that small is beautiful.
