EDITOR'S REVIEW
Bulgari kick-started the trend for wearing your logo on your sleeve - or your wrist, to be precise - with the Bulgari Roma, a watch whose heritage dates back to 1975. Originally created by Gérald Genta, Audemars Piguet's visionary designer, the BVLGARI ROMA - with a Latin 'V' - was engraved around the bezel, a design feature that has been faithfully reproduced in the new Bulgari Roma watch. Now equipped with an in-house BVL 191 movement, the rose gold dial on the Bulgari Roma - limited to to 250 pieces - brings to mind the base of an ancient column in Rome, the city with which the Italian jeweller and watchmaker will forever be associated. Set deep into the case, gold indices and numerals have been applied to the black dial, which has a discreet date window at 3 o'clock.
