The legendary Roman jeweller Bulgari has taken inspiration from the ancient world surrounding the Italian capital city for its latest women's watch collection, Lucea. A combination of the words 'luce' and 'lux' - the Italian and Latin words for light - Bulgari pays homage to the sundial with the Lucea. This Bulgari Lucea model features a curved 33mm steel case with a smooth pink gold bezel. The dial is illuminated by a white mother-of-pearl face punctuated by bezel set diamonds at each hour. The hour, minute and second functions are indicated by dagger-shaped pink gold plated hands, while a fluted aperture at 3 o'clock displays the date. The pink gold crown is set with a pink gemstone cabochon, with a diamond at its heart. The Calibre B77 mechanical self-wind movement has a 42-hour power reserve and is water resistant to 30m. Finished with an alternate polished steel and pink gold link strap, inspired by the Bulgari Serpenti collection, the Bulgari Lucea watch curls comfortably around the wrist.
