Could there be anything more evocative than the Ballon Bleu de Cartier timepiece collection? This elegant Ballon Bleu de Cartier Extra-Flat watch, ref. W6920089, features rose gold dagger hour and minute hands sweeping across a broodingly handsome grey guilloché dial. The refined face is effortlessly refined, with Cartier's signature Roman numerals in rose gold encircling the dial, interrupted only by the alluring indent of the fluted crown topped with a blue sapphire cabochon, which is itself protected by a rose gold bubble. Measuring 40mm across, the ultra-thin rounded rose gold case is just 6.9mm thick and water resistant up to 30m, while the calibre 430 MC manually mound mechanical movement has a power reserve of up to 40 hours.
