A unique piece, this Panthère Mystérieuse pendant watch unites two of the Maison’s strongest symbols: the panther and the mystery movement. A circle has been cut into the agate stone of the pendant to house the watch whose hands float magically in space with no ostensible connection to the movement. Known as a mystery movement, this extraordinary complication has been one of Cartier’s most famous hat tricks since 1912. Keeping an emerald eye on the time is a diamond-studded panther perched comfortably in the bezel crafted from an alternating sequence of diamonds and cylinders of obsidian. The cost of this pendant watch is €780,000.
