This wonderful collection of Cartier watches, available for sale at Christie's, London, is comprised of a gentleman's white gold Santos-Dumont watch and a lady's yellow gold Santos-Dumont watch as well as a square steel desk clock featuring an applied wooden panel. Both wristwatches feature a diamond-set bezel, a cream square dial, black painted Roman numerals and black hour and minute hands. They also feature a secret Cartier signature on the 10 and 7 o'clock numerals respectively and are presented on a leather strap secured with a deployant buckle. The 9.4cm Cartier desk clock has a carved wooden crocodile skin pattern accented by a tiger's eye. It comes with its original Cartier presentation case, outer card box and papers. This collection of Cartier timepieces is expected to fetch between £20,000 - £30,000 at auction.
